The officially certified German DÄGAK PAK Applied Kinesiology course, the first of its kind held in Chinese mainland, wrapped up successfully in Zhengzhou, Henan Province after six days (May 29 – June 3). The program was hosted by Jianheng Academy and sponsored by Theratools.
Taught personally by Dr. Med. Hans Garten, founder of DÄGAK and a senior veteran lecturer of ICAK, this course covers two core modules: the introductory certificate and the basic diploma. It delivers authentic, orthodox applied kinesiology under the international ICAK system. Rehabilitation practitioners from all across the country gathered here and successfully completed the full systematic curriculum.

Core Advantages: Why This Inaugural Session Is Unmatched
1、Authentic Origin & Complete System
This is the first full official entry-level DÄGAK PAK course launched in Chinese Mainland. Unlike fragmented, non-ICAK-certified generic applied kinesiology courses available on the market, the whole training adopts globally unified ICAK teaching standards and original textbooks compiled by Dr. Hans Garten. Its teaching system is copyrighted by the International College of Applied Kinesiology, with traceable technical origins and German officially recognized certificates. It fills the gap of systematic, orthodox offline PAK training in Chinese Mainland.
2. Taught by a Master, Invaluable Clinical Experience
As the founder of DÄGAK, one of the world’s first batch of ICAK-certified DIBAK specialists, and author of multiple globally recognized authoritative textbooks on Applied Kinesiology, Dr. Hans Garten is not merely a theorist but also an active clinical practitioner seeing patients daily. The numerous real clinical cases and practical insider tips he shares are invaluable insights unavailable in any textbooks.

3. Integrated Multimodal Therapies to Address Root Causes
Built on PAK’s exclusive Health Golden Triangle concept, the course seamlessly integrates muscle testing, spinal adjustment, acupuncture, nutritional regulation and emotional techniques. It delivers holistic solutions for complicated and chronic conditions, instead of merely treating symptoms superficially.
4. Injury Recall Technique (IRT) & Provocation Testing
This is the most distinctive core technique of the PAK system. It efficiently identifies forgotten or concealed old injuries and stressors, greatly boosting diagnostic and therapeutic accuracy and efficiency. It serves as a standout strength to build trust with patients.

Participants gained abundant insights with multi-dimensional empowerment of their clinical diagnosis and treatment capabilities.
The participants in this training included practitioners from various fields, such as rehabilitation physicians in public hospitals, general practitioners in private clinics, physical therapists, chiropractors, TCM acupuncturists, sports rehabilitation instructors and orthodontists.

What exactly did they take away after six days? This was the first question every participant was asked upon course completion.
We’ve sorted out their responses — and you’ll see it’s far more than just a certificate.
1. Manual Muscle Testing & IRT Technique: Reproducible and precise assessment procedures that actively locate hidden old lesions lingering for years or even decades.
2. Official DÄGAK Course Hour Certificate: A crucial proof of completed training hours for the internationally recognized certification pathway, marking the first step toward formal PAK practitioner qualification.
3. Three-Dimensional Diagnostic Thinking: A root-tracing logic centered on the "Health Golden Triangle" covering structure, biochemistry and psychology, putting an end to superficial symptom-only treatment.
4. Hands-on Tactile Guidance Corrected by the Master: Dr. Garten personally adjusted the angles and force applied during muscle testing, an invaluable experience impossible to obtain from online video courses.

5. Spinal and Pelvic Correction Protocols Systematic procedures for Type 1 / Type 2 pelvic dysfunctions, origin-insertion disorders, and antagonist-inhibition injuries are fully standardized. 6. Special AK Acupuncture Point Positioning Techniques Cross-disciplinary applications including pain management, addiction intervention and tolerance regulation, expanding the scope of clinical practice. 7. High-Level Peer Networking A case consultation network consisting of practitioners nationwide from orthopedics, rehabilitation, functional medicine and other disciplines. 8. Professional Confidence & Professional Identity Officially recognized DÄGAK credentials to present to patients and peers, alongside the professional assurance of practicing as a "root-cause detective".

Many participants shared feedback after the course: they used to treat numerous chronically ill patients with recurring symptoms yet failed to identify the root causes. Through this PAK training, they finally sorted out the cascading logic behind physical ailments, and the IRT and metabolic screening techniques filled long-standing blind spots in their clinical practice.

Curriculum System: Authentic original ICAK teaching, exclusive inaugural training in Chinese Mainland
Curriculum System: Authentic original ICAK teaching, exclusive inaugural training in Chinese Mainland
1. Part 1|3-Day Introductory Certificate Course (Introduction to AK & Metabolic System IRT)
This module lays a solid foundation for the core logic of Applied Kinesiology from the start. Starting with the history of AK and the neurophysiological basis of Manual Muscle Testing (MMT), it establishes the core thinking framework of the Health Golden Triangle covering structure, biochemistry and mental health. Participants systematically master the fundamental judgment logic of manual muscle testing and reflex point therapy. Relying on the AK-GS module, trainees learn AK screening protocols for general hidden disorders including allergies, rheumatism, candida infections, gut flora imbalance, heavy metal/pesticide toxic load and odontogenic lesions. Trainees progress through Level 1 and Level 2 of the Injury Recall Technique (IRT), learning how latent old injuries in the body trigger chronic pain, digestive disorders and immune imbalance, breaking free from the misconception of purely symptomatic treatment.

2. Part 2|3-Day Basic Diploma Course (M1 Musculoskeletal Disorders & Special eIRT Acupuncture)
Delve deep into clinical practical operations based on the preceding theories:
Spine & Pelvis Special Module: Full-dimensional diagnosis and correction for muscle origin-insertion injuries, myofascial dysfunctions, vertebral subluxations, respiratory imbalances, and Type 1/Type 2 pelvic misalignments, filling the gap in root-cause treatment logic for chronic musculoskeletal pain.
Exclusive PAK Acupuncture & eIRT System: Integrating Yamamoto Cranial Acupuncture, targeted pain B&E techniques, addiction intervention and somatotopic localization therapy. Advanced Level 2 and Level 3 Injury Recall Technique (eIRT) are fully practiced, creating an interdisciplinary integrated framework combining manual muscle testing, Western medical assessment and traditional acupuncture.

The full course covers two major modules totaling 52 official teaching hours. All teaching content complies with ICAK-DÄGAK certification standards. Upon completing the required hours, participants may apply for official credit certificates issued by Germany’s DÄGAK. These credits will be recorded in the 100-hour training file required for future international PAK practitioner certification examinations, making this an authentic PAK credit credential rarely available domestically.
