Three days of immersive hands-on training, five modules of practical drills, and an in-depth breakdown of full-body fascial chains... From April 24 to 26, the internationally certified course FMT Myofascial Remediation Intermediate – Fascial Assessment and Integrative Therapy, hosted by Jianheng Academy and taught personally by Teacher Luo Jun, came to a successful conclusion in Zhengzhou, Henan.

I. Course Highlights: Breaking the Mold – Systematic, Practice-Oriented Rehabilitation Training

Many therapists face persistent clinical confusion: why does knee pain persist despite local treatment around the knee? Why does tennis elbow keep recurring after repeated soft tissue release?

The underlying root cause is often overlooked fascial dysfunction.

Building on the basic techniques learned in the foundational course, this intermediate course directly addresses these core pain points and helps participants develop a holistic understanding of the fascial tensegrity framework.

Fully upgraded from the foundational course, this programme centres on the core principles of "science, systematic learning, practical application and advanced techniques", featuring unique advantages distinct from conventional training:

Closed-Loop Assessment, End Blind Release Therapy

The exclusively upgraded full-dimensional FMT closed-loop assessment system establishes a complete clinical reasoning process from screening to follow-up review, fundamentally resolving the issue of symptomatic-only treatment.

Upgraded Clinical Thinking, Whole-Body Linked Treatment

Breaking the limitations of localised treatment and adopting the proprietary fascial compensation chain analysis method, it delivers advanced therapeutic results where targeted intervention improves overall body function.

Expert Live Instruction, Clinically Ready TechniquesTaught personally by Teacher Luo Jun, a national team doctor, the course unpacks Olympic sports medicine experience and complex clinical cases. All techniques and protocols are directly applicable to clinical practice.

  • Internationally Certified · Boost Core Competitiveness: High-value internationally recognised certification is awarded upon course completion, helping practitioners enhance professional credibility and expand their client base.
  • Precise Problem-Solving · Immediate Clinical Application: Small-group teaching specifically addresses common clinical pain points, paired with one-on-one technique correction, enabling participants to master the methods and deliver treatments independently.

II. Core Technique Combinations: In-depth Mastery of the Eight Core Techniques and the FMT Assessment System

While the foundational course focuses on mastering the standardised "Eight Core Techniques" and the "88 Rule", this intermediate course delivers an intelligent upgrade to the entire system.

Further Standardisation of Manual Application

Within the core technical modules, Teacher Luo Jun explained the micro-trauma stimulation mechanism of myofascial manipulation tools, providing live guidance on how to activate fibroblast activity and restore the body’s tension balance. Participants practiced repeatedly, embedding the standardised "88 Rule" into muscle memory.

Clinical Reasoning & Protocol DevelopmentA key focus of the course is building proficiency with the FMT Assessment System. On the second day, Teacher Luo Jun guided participants step-by-step to establish a standardised, structured and systematic forward-and-reverse clinical reasoning framework. Through group work using FMT assessment forms and case presentation challenges, participants developed a rigorous clinical mindset: no assessment, no treatment.

III. Five-Module Practical Training: Precisely Address Full-Body Fascial Pain Points

Unlike the foundational course’s disease-focused, isolated teaching method, this intermediate course emphasises a holistic treatment mindset that integrates points, lines and planes.

On the third day of the course, Teacher Luo Jun guided participants to dissect fascial points along the whole-body chains through intensive hands-on practice:

  • Lower & Upper Limb Fascial Module: Precisely locate fascial points of the anterior and lateral chains to address common issues such as runner’s knee and rotator cuff injuries.
  • Torso, Head & Neck Module: Use fascial tools to release deep fascial adhesions that cause rounded shoulders, kyphosis and neck stiffness.
  • Facial Fascia Module: Combine facial sculpting and myofascial remediation techniques to open new horizons in clinical practice and physical therapy.

At the end of the course, participants who completed the full training received the international certification for the FMT Myofascial Remediation Intermediate Course.

This certificate not only recognises three days of intensive immersive learning, but also signifies that participants have acquired comprehensive capabilities spanning assessment and treatment, theory and practice, as well as local and holistic care — officially joining the ranks of professional myofascial therapists.

IV. Participant Feedback

During the three days of immersive training, all participants stayed fully focused and took an active part throughout. Every attendee achieved meaningful professional growth and successfully fulfilled their pre-course learning objectives.

Viewing the human body from a fascial perspective, many clinical challenges can be resolved with ease.
Going forward, Jianheng Academy will continue to collaborate with Teacher Luo Jun to deliver more high-quality courses for rehabilitation practitioners, focus on rehabilitation education, and drive the development of the industry!
Don’t let fascial issues hold you back. We look forward to meeting you in our next course!
